Fiorentina goalkeeper Neto has finally resolved his future by reaching an agreement with Serie A giants Juventus.

The Brazilian had been linked with numerous other clubs since announcing his decision to leave the Viola at the turn of the year, but is now set to start next season in Turin at the Bianconeri.

The 25-year-old has committed himself to a four-year contract with the reigning Serie A champions, according to Sky Sport Italia.

However, it is also reported that Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri is pushing for the transaction to be completed in this current transfer window, as opposed to the player officially joining in June on the expiry of his Fiorentina contract.

This move could come as a surprise to many at Fiorentina, as Neto himself laughed off rumours linking him to Juventus in October last year.

“I do not think I would go [to Juventus] anyway. There is a big rivalry between these two teams and I think it will stay this way”, said the player at the time in an interview with ESPN.
