Juventus have targeted Zenit St Petersburg midfielder Axel Witsel as a potential replacement should star player Paul Pogba leave this summer.

With the French midfielder earning more plaudits by the day with his dazzling performances this season, it seems inevitable that a big money offer will come for the 21-year old with clubs such as Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United believed to have registered an interest in the star.

According to Belgian newspaper La Derniere Heure, the Bianconeri have earmarked the Belgian international as a player who could replace Pogba should Juve decide to cash in on their prized asset.

Liege born Witsel signed for Zenit in September 2012 for €40 million and has represented his country 54 times while scoring six goals.
