Juventus could be set to land Espanyol defender Hector Moreno during the January transfer window.
The Bianconeri are probing the transfer market in the search of defenders and Moreno has emerged as the top target for Bianconeri.
According to Sport.es, Moreno’s agent Mino Raiola has a great relationship with Juventus sporting director Giuseppe Marrota, which seems to be the pivotal factor in any deal coming to fruition.
The 27-year old Mexican central defender would cost Juventus around €7 million as the club look for long term replacements for the ageing Andrea Barzagli.
Moreno joined Espanyol from AZ in 2011 and has scored six league goals in 101 appearances for the Spanish side.
