Juventus midfielder Romulo has reportedly rejected a return to Hellas Verona this winter as he looks to make a name for himself at the Old Lady.

The 27-year-old, who arrived at the Bianconeri on a season-long loan from the Gialloblu in August 2014, has struggled to find enough time on the pitch to prove himself this season due an unfortunate string of injuries and is apparently looking to continue his career with the Turin giants once he’s back in top shape.

According to GianlucaDiMarzio.com, Hellas Verona made contact with the Italian international in recent weeks in an attempt to bring him back to the Bentegodi before the end of the January transfer window, but had their offers immediately turned down by the former Fiorentina man.

The midfielder has made just two Serie A appearances for Juventus this season thus far, with his last appearance coming in his side’s 7-0 demolition of Parma on November 9.

Romulo is expected to return from his latest injury in March.
