Lazio midfielder Marco Parolo feels that his side can achieve consecutive victories against the AC Milan following their 3-1 victory at the Stadio Olimpico in Saturday’s Serie A play.

The 29-year-old scored a brace in the second half to bring his side a well deserved three points, and the player now looks forward to the Coppa Italia quarter-final clash with the Rossoneri on Tuesday.

“Today I was pretty charged up, tomorrow is my birthday I wanted to treat myself,” Parolo said to Sky Sport Italia.

“This team has character and identity, we want to do well in the next match.

“We started on the right foot, and we want to continue on this road. The coach encourages us, when we create so much the victories come our way.”

Parolo continued with details on his goalscoring exploits and the turnaround result.

“I’m happy for the two goals, one is dedicated to me and one to my uncle,” he stated.

“You could not get better than this, we really played with heart and soul. In the first half ended 1-0 for them but we did not deserve to be down, we must continue with this intensity because it can take us far.”
