Lazio have confirmed that striker Brayan Perea has been brought back from a loan at Perugia to cover for the injured Filip Djordjevic.

The Aquile are in need of a forward after Djordjevic fractured his right ankle during their 3-1 win over AC Milan in Serie A on Saturday evening and which has ruled him out for three months.

An official club statement announced the 21-year-old has now returned to the Stadio Olimpico with his season-long loan in Umbria terminated.

Perea scored one Serie B goal for Perugia over sixteen appearances, five of which were starts.

The Colombian Under 20 international started his career in the Deportivo Cali youth ranks and made fifty four appearances for the first team before joining Lazio on a five-year deal reported to be worth €2.5 million on transfer deadline day in 2013.
