Lazio will shortly confirm the signing of controversial West Ham midfielder Ravel Morrison on a four-year contract.
The 21-year-old English youth international is regarded as one of his nation’s most talented young players, but his career has so far been marred by unsavory off-the-field incidents.
Il Messaggero reports that Morrison performed his medical examinations and signed a four-year deal worth €750,000 per season on Wednesday at the Formello.
It is reported that Lazio are trying to convince West Ham to mutually terminate his contract so he can arrive this month instead of in June.
Lazio are optimistic given Morrison has a contract that expires at the end of the season, and has recently been dumped in the club’s under 21 side.
