Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli has turned down a chance to return to the Serie A with Parma.
The 24-year-old Italian international has failed to meet expectations at Anfield since his summer move from AC Milan in the summer.
Balotelli is yet to hit the net in 12 Premier League appearances, and has only scored two goals across all competitions.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Parma made an ambitious approach to Liverpool about taking the ex-AC Milan star on loan for the rest of the season.
The player however was not interested in a move to the relegation battling Ducali, and rejected it, preferring to stay and fight for his place at the Reds.
