Manchester City are stealing a march in the hunt for Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba, with Stevan Jovetic set for a return to Serie A as part of the deal.

Pogba is a sought-after figure having starred this season for the Bianconeri, with the likes of Chelsea and former club Manchester United in the frame for his signature.

However, the Sun reports that Juventus hold an interest in ex-Fiorentina striker Jovetic, which could sway the defending Italian champions into pursuing an agreement with Manchester City over several other potential suitors.

Juventus are loathe to fork out €27 million in order to secure the services of the Montenegrin forward, but may be willing to listen to an offer for prize asset Pogba with the 25-year-old included.

City are expected to offload the ex-Viola man sooner rather than later following their recent purchase of Ivory Coast international Wilfried Bony from Swansea City.
