Inter boss Roberto Mancini has revealed that he would like to return to coaching in the Premier League in the future and could possibly make a return to the helm of Manchester City, though he insists that it would be difficult.

The tactician, who returned to the Nerazzurri as a replacement for Walter Mazzarri in November 2014, was successful during his stint with the Citizens from 2009-13 and he admits that he’d be open to working in England again later in his career, even if it was at a rival club of the Manchester side.

Mancini spoke to Sky Sport Italia about his future and expressed his fondness for the Premier League, while also commenting on the possibility of him coaching City again.

“I don’t know if I could return to Manchester City, it would be difficult,” said the 50-year-old. “However, I’ve said the same thing about returning to Inter. Football is strange.

“I’d like to go back to England because the football there is fantastic, so it’s possible that I could have another Premier League experience in the future.

“Would I go to clubs like Arsenal, Manchester United or Liverpool? I’m a professional. I’m happy with what I was able to do at City, but if there were a certain opportunity, even though I hold City close to my heart like Inter, I would accept.”
