AC Milan forward Jeremy Menez is looking forward to a chance to get even with Lazio in their Coppa Italia quarter-final clash.
Milan suffered a 3-1 away defeat to their opponents on Saturday in Serie A, with Menez opening the scoring before it all fell apart.
“We are going through a difficult time,” Menez told Milan Channel.
“You have to stand up and get a good result.
“We focus on the Coppa Italia and want to do well.
“I always try to give my best for the team, but sometimes it’s not enough.”
Meanwhile, the 27-year-old offered his full backing to under-fire head coach Filippo Inzaghi.
“There is no problem, we are all with the coach,” continued Menez.
“But we must have more nastiness.
“The break from the league will do us good.”
Menez has notched ten goals in 20 Serie A appearances so far this season despite the Rossoneri’s struggles.
