Gabbiadini NapoliNapoli have confirmed they will not re-enter the January transfer market, after being left satisfied with their new acquisitions.

The Partenopei purchased Manolo Gabbiadini and Ivan Strinic in early January from Sampdoria and Dnipro respectively, with the pair so far impressing at their new club.

Accordingly, Il Corriere del Mezzogiorno are reporting Napoli have decided to end their business transactions for the month and instead turn their attention to buying younger players in the summer.

Speculation has suggested president Aurelio De Laurentiis will pursue Torino defender Matteo Darmian at the end of the season, having been identified as the natural heir to veteran Christian Maggio.

Darmian, 25, has seen his stock rise since making his senior international debut for Italy last year, following a successful 2013/14 season with the Granata.
