Napoli are reportedly interested in landing Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Marcelo Brozovic before the end of the January transfer window.
The 22-year-old, whose lengthy contract with Plavi isn’t set to expire until June 2019, has been linked with a possible move to several clubs including Liverpool and Arsenal, though it seems Partenopei boss Rafa Benitez is ready to enter the race for his signature as well.
According to SportMediaset, Napoli chief Aurelio De Laurentiis would be willing to invest around €8 million in the Croatian international if Gokhan Inler or Jorginho were to make a departure from the Serie A side this winter.
Jorginho has been linked with a possible loan move back to Hellas Verona for the remainder of the season, while Inler has been the target of a few sides including Besiktas and Parma, though the futures of both Azzurri players remain uncertain.
Brozovic has scored one goal and provided four assists in his 14 Prva HNL appearances this term thus far.
