Napoli are targeting a summer move for promising Uruguayan striker Jaime Baez.
The 19-year-old, who is leading scorer for club-side Juventud de Las Piedras, is also being scouted by Premier League side Liverpool ahead of a possible summer transfer battle between the European clubs.
Napoli could be looking for a talented striker in the summer amid growing reports that Gonzalo Higuain is ready to jump ship from the Partenopei, as Tuttosport reveal that both clubs are tracking the young striker.
Baez has appeared 67 times for Juventud since the 2012/13 season, and has already notched an impressive tally of 16 goals for the side who finished eighth in the first part of the Uruguayan Primera Division in 2014/15.
Furthermore, Baez has been likened as the new Luis Suarez in certain corners of the footballing world.
