Napoli are weighing up an offer for Club Brugge right-back Thomas Meunier.
The 23-year-old Belgian international has established himself as one of the Pro League’s best fullbacks in recent years, and could be set for a move to the Serie A.
Il Mattino reports that Napoli director Riccardo Bigon is keen on reaching a deal for the versatile fullback, but has so far baulked at Brugge’s €4 million valuation of the player.
With eighteen months left on his current deal, Bigon is convinced he can land Meunier for less and is prepared to wait until the summer to make another assault.
Meunier has made 19 league appearances for table-topping Brugge this campaign.
