Parma LogoHaving officially taken control of Parma and secured the club’s financial accounts, Rezart Taci is now set to invest heavily in order to overhaul Roberto Donadoni’s playing squad as the Ducali attempt to stave off relegation.

The club have already moved to strengthen their midfield with a deal to secure Antonio Nocerino from AC Milan completed, and another for Lazio’s Alvaro Gonzalez set to be finalised within the next few days.

It is understood that the new Albanian ownership will then turn their attention towards bolstering the team’s attacking options.

Director of sport Pietro Leonardi is believed to be eager to secure the return of former Parma favourites Alberto Gilardino and Sebastian Giovinco from Guangzhou Evergrande and Juventus respectively while Sassuolo’s Sergio Floccari is viewed as an alternative option.

Atletico Madrid’s Cristian RodrĂguez is another player who has been linked with a transfer to Emilia-Romagna while contact has already been made with Zenit Saint Petersburg about former Siena centre back Neto.
