Parma are reportedly considering a move for struggling Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli before the end of the January transfer window.

The 24-year-old has been having a rough time settling in with the Reds since his arrival from AC Milan over the summer and could already be preparing to make his exit from the club after being linked with a possible transfer to several teams in recent weeks including Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain, though the Crociati are now apparently ready to enter the fight for his signature as well.

According to The Guardian, new Parma president Fabio Giordano is desperately trying to strengthen his club in order to save them from relegation in the coming months and may be open to making an offer for the Italian international.

Balotelli, whose current contract with Liverpool is set to expire in June 2018, has failed to score in his 12 Premier League appearances this term thus far, but has netted a total of two goals in all competitions.
