Cassano Parma UltrasParma decided to on a press silence after the disappointing 2-1 loss at home to Cesena on Sunday afternoon in Serie A.

Although they trailed for most of the match on a first-half goal by Nico Pulzetti, the Ducali were close to snatching at least a point from the match after an own goal by Emmanuel Cascione brought them back on level terms with the Cavallucci Marini. However, they paid the price of poor defending in the last minute when substitute Alex Rodriguez’s volley gave Cesena the victory.

As a result, coach Roberto Donadoni’s job is under threat with Hernan Crespo being linked as a replacement. While after the game Donadoni spoke to the ultras at length, as did Antonio Cassano and other members of the Gialloblu squad.

Post-match TV interviews were not conducted as the club announced a silenzio stampa – press silence.

This was the 16th loss for Parma this season and the second against Cesena, allowing the Cavallucci Marini to pull three points ahead of the Ducali in the direct competition for survival. The home side, on the other hand, is now 10 points away from the safety zone.
