Parma are reportedly looking to land AC Milan striker Giampaolo Pazzini as a replacement for Antonio Cassano before the end of the January transfer window.

The 30-year-old, who will be out of a contract with the Rossoneri come June, has been steadily linked with a possible move to the Crociati in recent weeks, especially now that Cassano has left the picture, and it seems like he could be close to making an exit from the San Siro outfit depending on Milan’s plans for him.

According to SportMediaset, Parma are willing to offer Pazzini a deal worth around €2 million, but must still wait for AC Milan to decide what they’d like to do with the striker, as Juventus have apparently been interested in signing him as well.

Reports also suggest that the Diavolo would refuse to sell the former Sampdoria man if they fail to find someone to fill his shoes, though Roma striker Mattia Destro is thought to be on his way to Milan in the coming days.

Pazzini has failed to score in his 10 Serie A appearances this season thus far.
