Lazio coach Stefano Pioli has said that AC Milan should be mindful of his side’s great form when they face each other in the Coppa Italia on Tuesday night.
The Biancocelesti defeated the Rossoneri 3-1 on Saturday night in Serie A but Pioli warned the Rossoneri that Lazio will still be a formidable opponent despite any changes in playing personnel.
“It will be a difficult match like the last one but we must not change our attitude,” Pioli told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“I will draw up the best formation that could also be with seven different players from Saturday’s one. We expect a fired-up Milan but Lazio will also be.
“On Saturday the players demonstrated that they wanted the victory and they believed in this. Clearly moments of difficulty will also be there but it was a very important step for our growth.
“That is what I want to see on the ground tomorrow night also.”
