Francesco Benussi – 6.5 – Alert

Was always on the ball and reacted well when called into action.

Davide Brivio – 6 – Reserved

Always an option on the left hand side but didn’t get too far forward.

Very resolute in defence, especially in defence and made two cracking tackles on German Denis.

Frederik Sorensen – 6 – Mixed

Found aerial battles with Pinilla a bit difficult but overall did well defensively.

Jacopo Sala – 7.5 – Tireless

Got up and down the wing all game and put in some good crosses for his team-mates whilst also contributing in defence.

Rafael Marquez – 6 – Experienced

Showed composure on the ball in a calm performance from the veteran after two abysmal performances in Turin.

Emil Hallfredson – 6 – Inaccurate

An average performance from the Icelandic international but he could not find the final ball.

Panagiotis Tachtsidis – 6.5 – Intelligent

The midfielder played some very good through balls whilst also keeping it simple when needed too.

Lazaros Christodoulopolous – 7 – Decisive

Energetic performance from the winger and it was his run down the right wing and pass that set up Saviola for the winning goal.

Luca Toni – 7 – Target

Although a bit wasteful in front of goal, his team play was priceless.

Javier Saviola – 7 – Goal

Scored the winning goal with a neat finish from close range but could have had another later in the second half but he skied his effort.
