Udinese and Cagliari drew 2-2 at the Stadio Friuli on Sunday afternoon in Serie A.
Joao Pedro put the visitors ahead but quick-fire goals from Allan and Cyril Thereau turned the game on its head before Danilo Avelar netted a penalty to earn a draw for Cagliari.

Orestis Karnezis – 5.5 – Disappointing
Could have reacted quicker to deny Cagliari’s first goal but made some good saves.
Danilo – 6 – Steady
Did well in defensive areas but rarely got forward to assist in attacks.
Maurizio Domizzi – 5.5 – Injury
Had to come off before half-time due to injury, found it hard to deal with Longo at times.
Thomas Heurtaux – 5 – Unlucky
Found it difficult dealing with the pressure from the opponents and was unlucky giving away a last minute penalty when he handled.
Ivan Piris – 7 – Dangerous
Played several dangerous crosses into the box and was his side’s most dangerous player.
Bruno Fernandes – 5 – Uncharacteristic
Had the potential to hurt his opponents but rarely did so.
Panagiotis Kone – 5 – Difficult
Found it difficult dealing with Dessena and Donsah who were making darting runs past him constantly.
Gabriel Silva – 5 – Uninvolved
Was rarely seen making an impact on the game, non existent.
Allan – 6 – Mixed
Had a disappointing first half, but made up for it by scoring an equaliser in the second half.
Antonio Di Natale – 6 – Quiet
Didn’t have his usual impact on the game but in one second created the assist for Thereau’s goal.
Cyril Thereau – 6 – Isolated
Not much service received in the first half but scored a great goal in the second half to put his side in front.

Made several fouls and mistakes on what was a nervy Serie A debut for the Swede.

Zeljko Brkic – 6.5 – Influence
Didn’t make any spectacular saves but was a calming influence on his defence.
Francesco Pisano – 6 – Consistent
Dealt with the task of containing Gabriel Silva well all match and may well have been fouled in the build up to the second Udinese goal.
Luca Rossettini – 6.5 – Solid
Kept Di Natale and Cyril Thereau quiet for the majority of the match and was a key player for his team.
Marco Capuano – 5 – Sloppy
Was at fault for the both of Udinese’s goals to gift them a lead when his side were in front.
Danilo Avelar – 6 – Calm
Found it difficult to contain Ivan Piris but did generally well and then kept his nerve to snatch a point for the visitors.
Daniele Dessena – 6 – Tireless
Showed grit in midfield but often lacked quality whilst on the ball.
Godfred Donsah – 7 – Energetic
The youngster’s mazy run and pass led to Cagliari going 1-0 up and was a constant threat running from deep all game.
Lorenzo Crisetig – 7 – Director
Really neat on the ball but also worked hard in defensive areas to win it back.
Joao Pedro – 6.5 – Lethal
Scored with his only shot on goal to give Cagliari the lead but also showed some good link-up play around the box.

Made a veteran’s perfomance with some good play around the box but didn’t create many chances.
Samuele Longo – 6 – Enthusiastic
The striker showed good enthusiasm and effort to try to help his team but was a bit sloppy in possession.

Although he won the penalty he did not have much impact on the game.
