Inter winger Lukas Podolski has confirmed that he was experiencing problems at Arsenal but insists that everything has been solved now that he’s joined the Biscione.
The 29-year-old had made just seven Premier League appearances for the Gunners before signing a loan deal with the Nerazzurri in early January, with all of them coming as substitutions, and he admits that he has now been able to find a solution to his troubles since arriving at the San Siro outfit.
Podolski spoke to Sky Sport Italia while attending a Giorgio Armani event on Monday about why he had to leave Arsenal and confessed that things have changed for the better during his time at Inter.
“Now everything is going well, but in recent weeks there were quite a few problems to be solved at Arsenal,” said the German international, who has provided one assist in his three Serie A appearances thus far.
“Today I’m glad to be hosting this event, but tomorrow I will get back to focusing on Inter.”
