AC Milan defender Adil Rami has revealed that he hopes to one day end his playing career while donning the Rossoneri jersey.

Despte the club’s ongoing struggles, the former Valencia player is adamant he made the right decision in joining the Milan giants.

“I cannot forget 2014, I’m happy with what I did,” the player stated while speaking to Forza Milan!.

“What I remember with the most pleasure is signing for Milan, which was the best moment of my life. Right now I’d like to keep playing like I’m doing now. I feel good with coach Inzaghi[Filippo].

“When you get to Milan, you do not want to go anywhere else. I feel good here, I love the history of this club.

“I feel like a Rossoneri, even if I am French. Although not an Italian, as a child I always liked Milan.

“I’ve always been fascinated by the history of Milan and the players who have made it, such as Paolo Maldini. I would like to retrace his footsteps and finish my career here.

“It will be very difficult to get into the history of the club because we are all aware that AC Milan was quite different a few years ago.

“My priority is to give all my character and put all my strength to win with this team.

“However it will be difficult to become a great champion like Maldini and [Alessandro] Nesta or have a history with the Rossoneri like them, because I came here when I was 28 years old. ”

Rami has scored 4 goals in over 33 appearances for AC Milan since joining the club in July 2014.
