Andrea Ranocchia InterInter captain Andrea Ranocchia has stated that the Nerazzurri can still finish in third place, despite losing to Torino at home.

Torino beat Inter, 1-0 to register their first victory at San Siro in 27 years, thanks to Emiliano Moretti’s 94th minute header.

“It makes me angry for not only winning this type of games, but also for losing at the final minute,” Ranocchia told Sky Sport Italia.

“We have to improve. The coach Roberto Mancini did everything from the dugout to keep our confidence up.

“It’s always difficult to score when opponents concentrate only on defence, but we failed to utilize the space we got at times.

“I think I lost concentration a bit during the last few minutes. I was marking Gilk and failed to spot Moretti’s run.

“Eight points from third spot seems like a lot, but football is strange. We can finish third.”
