Roma have reportedly wrapped up a move for Cagliari forward Victor Ibarbo as the Giallorossi continue their January spending.

The capital club currently find themselves seven points behind leaders Juventus, and after the signing of Seydou Doumbia from CSKA Moscow, they look to close to finalizing another move to improve their attack.

Iltempo.it report that Roma have reached an agreement with Cagliari that will see Ibarbo move to the Stadio Olimpico on an initial loan.

Reports suggest the move will cost an initial €2 million with a forced option to buy set at €8m, though other outlets are reporting the move could cost as much as €16m.

Ibarbo joined Cagliari from Colombian club Atletico Nacional in 2011 and has since gone on to score 15 goals in 121 appearances for the Sardinian side.
