Roma have reportedly completed the signing of CSKA Moscow forward Seydou Doumbia on Friday.

The Giallorossi were already thought to be on the verge of adding a new attacking player to their roster before the end of the January transfer window, especially with Mattia Destro recently finalising his loan move to AC Milan, and it seems like the Ivory Coast international will be arriving at the capital city club in the coming days.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Roma have exchanged documents with CSKA Moscow after coming to a mutual agreement with the Russian club which will see the 27-year-old join the Lupi on loan for the remainder of the season with an option to make the move permanent this summer.

Reports suggest that the striker will cost the Serie A side a total of €14 million, with €2 million being paid for his initial loan and another €12 million required to make things permanent.

Doumbia, who arrived at the Koni from Young Boys in 2010, has scored seven goals and provided four assists in his 13 Russian Premier League appearances this term thus far.
