Serie A giants Roma remain active on the transfer front and continue to be linked with a move for Mohamed Salah of Chelsea.

Egypt international Salah arrived from Swiss side Basel a year ago but has failed to establish himself as a regular starter at Stamford Bridge under former Inter boss Jose Mourinho.

According to BBC News and The Guardian, if a deal is struck the Giallorossi will pay around 600,000 as a loan fee to land the 22-year-old this month and will also agree to cover his wages for the remainder of the season.

They will then pay 14 million to buy him outright at the end of the current campaign.

Chelsea will recoup the amount they paid for him and also receive a bonus of 1 million if the Rome based club qualifies for the Champions League.
