Roma’s former Dutch utility player, Urby Emanuelson, has signed for Serie A strugglers Atalanta.
The former AC Milan midfielder has found playing time difficult to come by at the Stadio Olimpico, since arriving in Rome last Summer.
The 28-year-old has moved to Stefano Colantuono’s side on a permanent deal and is expected to make the bench for the Oribici, who face Cagliari this weekend.
Emanuelson only managed two appearances for Roma, having signed a one year deal after leaving the Rossoneri at the end of last season.
He grew up in the famed Ajax youth academy, featuring 173 times for the Amsterdam giants, before making the switch to Serie A in 2011.
