AC Milan legend Arrigo Sacchi believes the club should stick with current coach Filippo Inzaghi.
Inzaghi has found himself under immense pressure of late, with many calling for his dismissal after the Rossoneri’s 3-1 defeat to the Biancocelesti, but Sacchi believes the club must move forward with the young tactician.
“Milan did not play well, Lazio deserved their victory,” he stated while talking to Mediaset Premium.
“It was not a good match from the Rossoneri. Three defeats this month will have an impact on morale.”
He went on to comment on the rumours linking him to Inzaghi’s job, should he be sacked.
“Me? I do not have the strength.
“I am convinced that Inzaghi has the ability to come through this difficult moment.”
AC Milan are currently languishing in ninth place in Serie A, and could drop into the bottom half if other results this weekend do not go their way.
