Sampordia are entertaining a potential transfer for Everton forward Samuel Eto’o to boost their attack after the sale of Manolo Gabbiadini during the January transfer window.
Udinese forward Luis Muriel is the Blucerchiati’s primary target but they have struggled to agree to a transfer deal as they are only willing to offer €10 million with add ons, while Udinese value Muriel at €15 million.
According to calciomercato.com, Eto’o is interested in the opportunity to play for the Genoa based club and is willing to reduce his yearly salary of €3 million to help complete the deal.
After the loss of Gabbiadini the Blucerchiati only have Stefano Okaka and Eder as forwards who have regularly played under coach Sinisa Mihajlovic this season.
