Udinese coach Andrea Stramaccioni believes the Zebrette are set to finally do away with their recent ‘bad luck’ as they prepare to play host to league leaders Juventus on Sunday.

The Bianconeri have only collected one win from their last six Serie A matches, but the 39-year-old is confident his side can build off their 2-1 victory over Empoli last Monday despite coming up against the defending champions.

“I think that the important thing is the trend in performances the squad has taken on,” he stated at his pre-match press conference as reported by tuttoudinese.it.

“I would list is it as starting with the Inter match, along with the defeat to Verona, where we played a great first half.

“We have had a lot of unfortunate events so I think that we are undergoing a good run of performances. We know that the best team in Italy are arriving, but we want to try and play our match.

“[Massimiliano] Allegri alternates between several formations. However they present themselves, we will do our best to get the result.

“[Luis] Muriel? I want to wish good luck to Luis, a player that was always available with me but unfortunately very unlucky.

“He could have spared a few more grateful words for Udinese because if he is in top level football it is also thanks to this club, but I am also sure he will do that in his next interview.”
