Juventus striker Carlos Tevez has insisted he is yet to make his mind up on when he will depart Turin for Boca Juniors to end his career in Argentina.

The former Manchester City man began his career at La Bombonera and with his contract at Juventus Stadium expiring in summer 2016, it is widely being speculated that he will leave the Bianconeri then to return home.

“The rumours about my future make me laugh,” Tevez toldĀ Mediaset Premium. “I do not read newspapers or watch television to see what is being said though. I still have a lot of time here. There is a year and a half left on my current deal.

“Am I not going to renew? That decision is not yet final, I will not lie to the fans and say I will or will not stay. My mind can change, I have more than a year left here and I am very happy.”

Tevez was speaking after his side’s 4-0 win over Hellas Verona, a game in which he scored twice but it was Paul Pogba who grabbed all of the plaudits for his display and the Argentine was glowing in his praise for his young teammate.

“Pogba is a phenomenon, even in training we all see what he can do. How far he goes in the game is entirely up to him. He is already a phenomenon and can still improve a lot,” he toldĀ Sky Sport Italia.

He also spoke about the rumours linking Pablo Osvaldo with a return to Turin: “He is a great player and I would always want him on my team. He can always make a difference which he showed with Inter.

“If I was a coach, I would always want him in my team but I do not know where he will end up. I would certainly like him at Juve.”
