Udinese’s veteran striker Antonio Di Natale has reportedly decided to leave the club at the end of the current Serie A campaign.

The 37-year-old almost retired last term, only to be persuaded otherwise by the club president Giampaolo Pozzo, and could now be set for one final payday in foreign climes.

Il Messaggero Veneto dedicated extensive coverage on the player’s decision to move on, with the forward having made a massive impression during more than a decade spent at the Stadio Fruili.

Di Natale hasn’t yet decided whether to hang up his boots entirely, or to seek a new adventure abroad.

Should he choose the latter option, the United Arab Emirates appears to be his most likely destination, with both Australia’s A-League and the MLS said to be in his thoughts.

Legendary status in Udine is already assured in recognition of his time with the Zebrette, while he is still hitting the back of the net regularly with eight goals in 17 league appearances this season.
