Torino coach Giampiero Ventura believes his side were equal to Inter and gave very little away following Sunday afternoon’s 1-0 victory at the San Siro.

The Nerazzurri controlled much of the possession but lacked a cutting edge in front of goal and came undone through a last minute Emiliano Moretti header, following a corner to give the three point to the Turin outfit.

“The result was deserved as we gave Inter very little to work with,”the veteran tactician told Mediaset Premium following the conclusion of the match.

“Padelli was tested very little and we had three or four counter attacks that we did not complete.

“We might have got slightly lucky with the winning goal but we have the conviction to take the victory when we had the chance.

“It is not easy to play well at the San Siro and I am happy for the players as we are doing well, President Cairo and for the fans as we have done something special.

“We have 25 points but our position in the standings could be better.

“We must continue with humility and see where we finish at the end of the season.”
