Adriano Galliani AC MilanAC Milan are planning an important summer revolution for the coming transfer window, with as many as 14 players who could leave the Rossoneri.

Within the AC Milan squad, the Rossoneri hierarchy will have to make decisions on a number of players who will either find themselves at the end of their contracts or their loans.

Corriero dello Sport report that the Rossoneri’s plans over some players would be for Christian Abbiati and Daniele Bonera to get contract renewals. Alessandro Matri could be allowed to stay at Juventus while they would hope Genoa to make an offer to buy loanee M’Baye Niang. Santos have also expressed interest in keeping on-loan Robinho, which would be a preferable solution for AC Milan.

AC Milan also plan of slashing their wage bill by renegotiating contracts of their highest earners; namely Philippe Mexes who is on €4 million, which the Rossoneri would wish to downgrade to a €2.7 million-a-year deal.

The other players AC Milan will be evaluating are Salvatore Bocchetti, Pablo Armero, Marco Van Ginkel, Nigel De Jong, Michael Essien, Antonio Nocerino, Riccardo Saponara and Giampaolo Pazzini, whose futures the club will have to sort out.
