AC Milan goalkeeper Christian Abbiati has said that all teams work harder against the Rossoneri and that Chievo won’t be much different on Saturday night.

The 37-year-old goalkeeper returned to AC Milan’s starting line-up in the 2-0 win against Cesena and he expects the Flying Donkeys to be tough to beat like the Cavallucci Marini were.

“It will be a difficult match,” Abbiati told the Milan Channel. “Every squad when they meet Milan give something extra. They will not be missing the spirit that we saw on Sunday with Cesena.”

AC Milan have been struggling on the field in the last couple of seasons but Abbiati had praise for the Rossoneri fans who have supported them in tough times.

“In these last two seasons they were always on our side. Even on Sunday they made a beautiful choreography although it was not key match. We noticed the choreography and certainly this thing helped us,” he concluded.
