Parma defender Gabriel Paletta has emerged as a late transfer target for AC Milan as they consider an alternative signing to Palermo’s Ezequiel Munoz.
The Rossoneri have been linked with a variety of targets during the transfer window and Munoz was on the verge of completing a €1.5 million move to the San Siro but negotiations have stalled and Milan are keen to keep their options open.
A deal for Paletta could be in the offing, according to Sport Italia, as Munoz’s transfer seems increasingly unlikely to be completed ahead of the transfer deadline on Monday evening.
The 28-year-old Argentine born Italy international has excelled for Parma since he joined the Gialloblu from Boca Juniors in 2010 and has gone on to make in excess of 100 appearances in all competitions for the club.
