AC Milan’s Alessio Cerci could see his loan deal from Atletico Madrid cut early in the summer, however as a result Fernando Torres would have to return to the Rossoneri.

Cerci joined Milan on a 18-month loan deal that saw Torres move in the opposite direction at the beginning of the season and has barely been given the chance to make an impact and only this week Milan head coach Filippo Inzaghi denied that there had been a bust-up between himself and the former Torino forward after the forward played just four minutes in their game against Cesena.

According to Leggo, as a result of the supposed recent falling out between head coach and player, Inzaghi will be ready to curtail the 27-year-old’s loan at the club and pointed out that if this were to go ahead, Torres would have to leave his beloved Atletico and return to Italy.

The versatile forward has only started 3 Serie A games for the Rossoneri this season, making another four appearances from the bench and has yet to open his goalscoring account for the club.
