AC Milan are monitoring the performances of West Ham defensive midfielder Cheikhou Kouyate.
The 25-year-old Senegalese international just moved to the Hammers from Belgian champions Anderlecht in the summer, and has been in impressive form for the high-flying West Ham.
Tuttomercatoweb report that Milan are already looking at options to reinforce the team for next season, and Kouyate has emerged as one of their top targets.
West Ham are in no hurry to sell one of their most important assets, and are confident of keeping him at the club having signed him to a long-term deal until 2018 in the summer.
Kouyate scored a sensational goal on the weekend against Manchester United in the 1-1 draw, and has made a total of 17 league appearances so far this season.
