AC Milan have all but completed a deal that will see Parma’s Gabriel Paletta join the Rossoneri ahead of the end of the transfer window on Monday evening.
The Rossoneri had been close to signing Palermo’s Ezequiel Munoz, however the deal appeared to reach an impasse and Milan quickly turned their attentions to the Parma defender and it now appears that the Italy international is on the verge of joining the Rossoneri.
“We are working towards a deal with Milan for Gabriel Paletta,” Parma technical director Antonello Preiti told Mediaset Premium on Sunday evening.
“We will try to complete the deal tomorrow, it is not final yet, we will see what happens in the coming hours.”
A fee of around €1 million has reportedly been agreed to by both parties according to Sky Sport Italia.
The 28-year-old Argentine born Italy international is in his fifth season with the Ducali and has made more than 100 appearances for the club in all competitions.
