Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri is almost certain that he will sign either Genoa’s Alessandro Matri or Southampton’s Pablo Osvaldo before the end of the January transfer window closes on Monday evening.

The Bianconeri have become increasingly reliant on the 13 Serie A goals of Carlos Tevez, while the other strikers at the club, Fernando Llorente and Alvaro Morata have mustered just four goals apiece this season. Allegri is keen to add another option up front and it is likely to happen on Monday.

“Tomorrow I am 99% sure that one of Matri or Osvaldo will arrive,” Allegri told reporters at his post-match press conference following his side’s goalless draw at Udinese.

Following their 0-0 draw, the Bianconeri failed to extend their seven-point lead ahead of second-placed Roma, who have failed to win five of their last six Serie A matches.
