AC Milan could be the subject of a €300 million offer for a thirty per cent share from an Arab consortium.

Silvio Berlusconi’s Fininvest currently owns the Rossoneri and in recent weeks the company came out to deny that Asian investors were set to lodge a €970 million bid to take control of the club, although he is considering raising funds for the club’s ambitious new stadium plans at Casa Milan.

According to Tuttosport, the interested party is the Mansour family, who specialise in the construction and entertainment industries, and that negotiations are at a very early stage.

Any deal is likely to see the consortium start with an initial 30 per cent holding in the club but would see the group take a controlling stake in the club in the future.
