Bank lends Parma money to pay outstanding debts

A bank has reportedly lent Parma money that will help in paying outstanding debts.

The Crociati have been sold for €1 plus debts twice in three months, and were in risk of financial collapse having failed to pay their players for nine months amongst other outstanding payments.

According to Sport Mediaset, a bank has lent Parma between €31 million and €33 million which will cover the wages of players and staff as well as paying some of the debts.

The report also states that the players have granted the board an extension of 24 hours to pay the wages, and the notice has already the reached the Italian Footballers’ Association.

Bailiffs already seized the club’s vans on Tuesday morning, as the club failed to pay the debts by the deadline on Monday.
