Barcelona defender Adriano has revealed that he’s fond of the Serie A and admits that he’s recently received offers to join an Italian club.
The 30-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Roma at the end of the 2014-15 campaign and it seems like he may be open to making the transfer, though he insists that he’s only focused on helping Barca win more trophies for now.
Adriano spoke to El Mundo Deportivo about his objectives for the remainder of the season and commented on his love for the Serie A.
“The most important thing right now is to win some trophies with Barcelona,” said the Brazilian.
“As for the rumours linking me with a move to Italy: Yes, I really like the Serie A and I’ve received some offers from an Italian team.
“We’ll see what happens, but for now I’m only focused on doing well on the pitch for Barca, hoping to play as much as possible.
“Then, at the end of the season, we’ll talk with the club’s leadership about what happens next, as we have in the past.”
