Napoli boss Rafa Benitez has revealed that the Azzurri will remain focused on advancing past the Europa League round of 16 though he understands that Dinamo Moscow will be a tough team to crack.
The Partenopei will be playing their round of 16 first leg against the Dinamiki at the San Paolo on March 12 and the tactician is aware that his team will have to fight hard to earn the advantage as he expects the second leg in Russia to be a challenge for the Serie A side.
Benitez spoke to SSCNapoli.it on Friday about Napoli’s draw with Dinamo Moscow and commented on the strength shown by the Russian side throughout their European campaign this season.
“We know about Dinamo Moscow and we know that they will be a tough opponent,” said the 54-year-old.
“Dinamo had dominated their group by winning every game and have now just confirmed their strength again by eliminating Anderlecht.
“They have many experienced players in their squad and have an important tradition of doing well in Europe.
“Moreover, we will be playing the return leg in Moscow which will present a difficult atmosphere for us.
“Of course we want to go forward in this competition and we are ready to play our best to earn qualification.”
