Antonio Di Natale has confirmed he will leave Udinese at the end of the current season.

The 37-year-old was convinced to stay with the Zebrette for another season in the summer, after he considered retiring from the game. Now it seems he will continue to play, but not at the Stadio Friuli.

“I will not renew my contract [with Udinese] in June,” Di Natale said, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport. “I will leave Udine.”

There is plenty of speculation as to his next destination with America seemingly his preferred choice, though not necessarily with an MLS club.

It is thought the New York Cosmos, who play in the NASL, have offered Di Natale a contract of €8 million over two years. While the New York Red Bulls are also said to be monitoring his situation.
