Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Montella has been full of praise for Inter coach Roberto Mancini ahead of the sides’ meeting on Monday in Serie A.

Fiorentina will travel to the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza to face Mancini’s side, and Montella is expecting a difficult game for both teams.

“This will be a tough game for us, but we will not make it easy for Inter, either,” he began.

“It has the potential to be a great match.”

Montella went on to praise the work done by Mancini since his return to the Nerazzurri in mid-November.

“He has given Inter a new mentality; a new identity,” he said. “The team always want to win, and always try to claim all three points in a match.”

He concluded by answering questions about how his side would line-up, and what approach they would take into the game.

“It could be 4-3-3 or 3-5-2, we will not give any hints to Inter,” he said. “We can set out either way.

“The important thing tomorrow is to always be in the game, we will be playing to win.”
