Fiorentina are monitoring on-loan Chievo Verona defender Ervin Zukanovic, with a view of making a concrete bid in the summer.
The 27-year-old Bosnian international is on loan at the Flying Donkeys from Belgian club Gent, and has been in impressive form this season.
Sky Sport Italia report that Fiorentina will make a move for the defender when the transfer market re-opens, and are confident of beating Chievo to a permanent deal.
The Viola will also make another effort in the summer for Monaco winger Lucas Ocampos, who moved to Marseille on deadline day on a loan deal until the end of the season.
Fiorentina made an effort to sign Ocampos in January, but couldn’t complete the deal as they had filled their quota for foreign players after Mohamed Salah secured a late switch to Florence.
