Fiorentina look set to reward young striker Khouma Babacar’s form this season with a new contract until 2021.
The 21-year-old Senegalese youth international has enjoyed a solid season so far, coming off the back of his prolific loan spell at Modena last season in Serie B.
Il Nazione report that the Fiorentina hierarchy have been impressed with Babacar’s form this campaign, and intend to offer him a new deal to extend his stay in Florence.
Babacar’s current deal expires in 2016, and the Viola are keen on offer the youngster a new and improved five-year deal to ward off other interested parties.
Babacar has hit eight goals in 18 appearances for the Viola this season.
